Between the Stars

Spanning decades, Between the Stars is an enduring story of love and devotion. From adolescence to old age, life is not without its challenges. Living with the failings and misgivings and resolving them is a journey in itself and takes a lifetime. Apart from teaching in a large comprehensive school Louise fills her time absorbed in her writing and her desire to find out about her father's past. Having already unearthed two other families Louise feels that there is another to be discovered. For Louise, her husband's retirement proves a difficult episode. Increasingly he feels lost and isolated and whilst she is living on the edge, busy and fulfilled she fails to notice his growing frustration and sense of worthlessness. Against the backdrop of this fragile relationship, a tangle of intense emotions, guilt and fear are interspersed with moments of pure unadulterated love.
