Geneva Farewell

Peter Chaff is in hospital in an unspecified city, recovering from a period of post-traumatic amnesia guided by psychotherapist Rose St. George. Peter begins to piece together the weeks from when he met Geneva Farewell to the day she died. His life at the time revolves around his relationship with four women-Geneva, Dr. St. George, a nineteen-year-old prostitute named Sylvie and Peter's sister Andrea as well as two men, Rudy Monteverdi and Lucky Jim Swan, who live on the social and economic fringe of the city.
