Justice

The author's third novel takes Julia, a smart young homicide detective on the Chicago Police Department, and Kate Stevens, a law clerk for a retiring Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court, on a trek through Chicago, New York, Paris, New Orleans and Capitol Hill to find the answers. Meanwhile, the White House has its own mysteries to solve when it's discovered the President's most recent appointment to the Supreme Court is an illegal alien. Gordon Cox, Kate's fianc? is brought in by the President to help manage the political damage and keep the newest Justice on the Court. In the end, justice is served, and Kate perseveres to find the real reason her friend was murdered.
