The Golden Tribe

Over the centuries, the mysterious Arazuran tribe, tucked away in the jungles of South America, has successfully resisted various pressures to give in to the great powers of globalization. However, when oil is discovered in the tribe's territory, the U.S. Administration suddenly develops a concern for the welfare of the indigenous population. On the basis of unsubstantiated allegations that the tribal elders are indulging in cannibalism and human sacrifice, the decision is taken to authorize a covert operation to bring about regime change, introduce democracy and unlock the territory's economic potential. However, the president of the United States and his advisers find that dealing with the smartest tribe in the jungle is not as easy as expected.
