D.D. Eisenhower, as well as his escapades in salvaging the lives of hundreds of fleeing Jews being pursued by the Nazis for incarceration and termination in the ovens of Auschwitz Concentration Camp.

The story details Nathan's capture by the Nazis in North Africa, his plans, preparations and escape as a POW. It follows his travels through Italy and Switzerland detailing his participation in saving the lives of fleeing Jewish families from the Nazis' pursuit to incarcerate them in concentration camps. Nathan returns to London and is accepted and retrained as an undercover operative. He participates in the final assault by the Allies on Germany's Heavy Water plant in Norway effectively delaying Germany's forward progression toward the development of an Atomic weapon. Upon his return to London, his military accomplishments are celebrated by Churchill, Eisenhower and a later personal meeting at the White House, with FDR. After a short furlough, Nathan is returned to active duty and clandestinely invades Dachau CC to rescue two renowned scientists from captivity. One of these scientists, with his son, comes to assist the Allies in the 'Manhattan Project' being secretly developed in the U.S.
