Watershed Moments

A watershed moment is a turning point in life brought on by a circumstance that stops us in our tracks.  It is the moment when everything changes, the point in time after which nothing will be the same. Through Scripture and her own personal experiences, speaker and author Gari Meacham shows how God uses these “watershed moments” to reveal himself to his children.

Using a progression of seven types of Watershed moments (the Watersheds of change, unraveling, rebuilding, purpose, control, overcoming, and belief), Meacham portrays life as a series of moments people encounter where they can either face change or turn away from it.  A life marked by Watershed moments starts from the place where a person lives, desperately hoping for some kind of new and freeing adventure, and ends with the person realizing, “I can’t go back.
